L..A. Academy of Creative Arts
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What ages can children take dance classes?
Students ages 2 and up can enroll in dance classes. The teacher will evaluate the child in his/her first class to make sure he/she is ready to participate in classes accordingly. If a child is not yet ready for dance class parents will be notified and it will be recommended that the child try again at a later date. It is solely up to the dance teachers discretion.
2. When is tuition due?
Tuition is due each month by the 5th of the month. There will be a $10 late fee assessed to each account if payments are not recieved on time. Please plan accordingly if dance class falls after the due date to have it paid the week before. Auto payments are available as well. Call the office to give your credit card information and get set up on auto pay. There is a $2.50 surcharge added to your monthly tuition to use auto pay. Payments will be debited on the 1st of each month.
3. What does my child need to wear to dance classes?
There is no special dress code. Lose fitting, comfortable clothing is recommended. Dance attire is allowed however L.A. Dance and its staff members take no responsibility for changing your child. We recommend you bring your child dressed for dance on dance days.
4. Can Parents/Guardians watch class?
Yes! We have an open door policy. Parents and families are always more than welcome to watch classes anytime. We do ask that anyone observing remain quiet as to not disturb class while in the room observing. We want every student to get the most out of class each week that he/she can.
5. When are dance classes at my childs school/center?
Check the posters and bulletin board at your childs school or ask your childs teacher.
6. What are pre-planned absenses?
As long as you call the L.A. Dance office BEFORE your child misses a class for any reason (i.e. sickness or vacation) then your child will be credited for the class.
